All Assignments:

All late assignments will have a deduction of 10 points.  If an assignment is not turned in it will be counted as a "missing" assignment and marked as a "zero" in the grade book.  Some assignments may be counted as "Excused" if for some reason the student cannot make the assignment up.  For example, labs that are missed while a student is absent, will not be recreated.

 

Students may redo failed assignments.  There may  be times when there is an exception due to particular circumstances.  This decision will be made at the teacher's discretion.

 

Tests:

If a student earns a test score below a 70, they will have the opportunity to retake a similar assessment or assessment questions for up to a 70.  The teacher will provide reteaching as needed within 10 days.

No Name:

If a student turns in a graded assignment without their name on the assignment, there will be an automatic 5 point deduction.  

District Policy States:

100 = A

80-89 = B

75-79 = C

70-74 = D

69 and below is failing

 

To access grades from home follow these instructions:

1.  Go to www.roundrockisd.org

2. Click on student/parents

3. Click on Home Access Center and log-in

4.  Click the purple word "here" if you have NOT previously registered on Home Access.

**important note: The email address you use must match the address listed under parent one on our Sommer registration form.
